The kind of tired that rest does not fix
There is a tiredness that a good night's sleep cures, and there is a heavier one that it does not. The second kind builds slowly: years of looking after everyone, carrying worries, never quite switching off.
It does not look dramatic from the outside. You still do everything. But you do it on reserve, and the days start to feel longer and the joy a little further away.
What usually gets tried
More sleep
Helps when the body is tired. Does little when the heaviness is coming from the mind.
Tea and coffee
Borrowed energy. It gets you through the afternoon and costs you the evening.
Vitamins and tonics
Worth checking with your doctor. But when the reports come back normal, the tiredness is still there.
A holiday
It feels wonderful for a week. Then life resumes and so does the heaviness.
Much of this tiredness is stress the body has been holding for years. The breath is one of the few ways to let it go.
Where your energy is going
Stress that is never released does not disappear. The body holds it, and holding it costs energy all day, every day, even when you are resting. That is why you can sleep eight hours and still wake up heavy.
The breathing practice taught in the Happiness Program is designed to release that held stress. People often describe feeling lighter after the very first time, and that is exactly what the free session lets you try.
- Shallow breathing all day
- The body stays tense
- Energy drains away quietly
- Deep, rhythmic breathing
- The body lets go
- Energy comes back

What people ask before they come
I am over 55. Is this suitable for me?
Yes. People of every age do this, including many in their seventies. Everything can be done sitting on a chair.
I have a health condition. Can I still come?
Usually yes, but tell the teacher before the session. The practice does not replace anything your doctor has advised.
Can I come in person instead of online?
Yes. Every Sunday morning at 9 am there is a session at our Happiness Centre in Sector 11, Rohini.
Is this religious?
No. The practices are based on the breath and are done by people of every faith and none.
Will you try to sell me something?
At the end the teacher explains the full Happiness Program once, including what it costs. Then you go home. Nobody will chase you.
What if I cannot make the session I booked?
Reply on WhatsApp and we will move you to the next one. There are four every week.
Come once. See how you feel after.
Free, gentle, and forty-five minutes long. Most people notice the difference before they log off.
